Dysani having no irises or pupils has been hinted at as early as Page 5 of Chapter One! The domino mask she wears as Maskaro doesn’t actually have lenses; but people who aren’t aware Dysani lacks traditional eyes would find it easy to assume that Maskaro’s mask does in fact have a lens.

Dysani: (thinking) Okay… Looks like I managed to shake him.

Dysani: (thinking) Now I just need to find Vela.

Dysani: (thinking) Glad I got a good look at her… That means I know what to look for.
