Dysani: Sorry, I just… I guess it’s still sinking in.
Dysani: Rahk has been my home for most of my life. And now… I’m leaving it behind.

Sometimes for one to escape their troubles, one must leave their home…
What troubles are there to escape?
Gonna be honest. I don’t get Dysani.
Met a stranger who seems in trouble with some kind of mafia. Has them stay the night, offers to pay for their breakfast, and then abandons home.
Like she said to Vela, she’s always wanted to see the universe! This just kinda fell into her lap. Though maybe we’ll learn more about the context of why she would later.
This could be a hard lesson to sink in for some people… many people including maybe Alex here, have always been on the road. Going from place to place, always moving, always traveling. But when you are some place for a very long period of time… the idea of leaving, when that moment comes…. its hard… can even feel breaking to a point. I mentioned something along these lines before in the last page.. but I wanted to give some extra context in the scope of the story. Alex is part of a flying space crew who has seen many places as compared to Dysani who, as mentioned, has only ever lived in this one place. It is possible Alex might have had to do similar in the past, but perspective is very important when it comes to understanding how people view a problem.
For a person who has lived in one place for years, leaving has this tone of finality… like the ending of a part of your life, the last sentences of your chapter..
But for an explorer, you have that knowledge that.. well… you can always come back if you want to.
Home is what you make of it, and the definition of home is very different depending on who you ask.
