Q: Exactly how many different sentient species are there on the current planet?
Rahk (our current location) has many different species on the planet! While it’s not a good gauge of how many species are in the universe due to effectively being the Space Boonies, travelers come and go somewhat frequently- resulting in a lot of different species on-world. As far as an exact number… well, let’s see…

This sequence from 2.03 has at least 8 different sentient types! Some of them may look like the same kind, but looks can be deceiving.

Q: What is the ratio of magic to technology? Assuming it’s not magitech, I mean!
This galaxy leans technology since it’s easier for various species to use, given its (mostly) universal interface. However, super powers, magic, and magitech have their places- not all species in the galaxy can use baseline technology effectively.

Fun Fact: Vela’s headset is a magitech device! It lets her understand and be understood. More on that later. I’m thinking somewhere with a lot of snow…?
